The Halifax Public Libraries' Ask a Librarian service gives you the option of asking a question via e-mail.

Staff will provide answers to basic questions, or direct you to appropriate resources. If your question is more complex, we will give you guidance on how to best start your research. Staff will suggest electronic and/or library resources. Referrals to other agencies will also be provided as appropriate. For more information, please refer to our Ask a Librarian FAQ.
