The Halifax Public Libraries collects resources about Nova Scotian and Atlantic Canadian local history. The bulk of the collection is housed in the Spring Garden Road Memorial Public Libraries Reference Department.
Unique Dartmouth resources are available at the Alderney Gate Public Library.
