News For You

Library Returns Box

If you happen to pick up some books or DVDs next time you are in town, you can rest easy knowing you have somewhere nearby to return them! We are pleased to let you know that Halifax Public Libraries has installed a library returns box in Middle Musquodoboit. The returns box is located outside at Haverstocks Pharmasave (12280 Highway 224), near the vending machine on the right side of the building. People can use it to return library items borrowed from any public, university, or college library in Nova Scotia. Books borrowed from Halifax Regional School Board libraries should still be returned directly to the school. The returns box will be emptied weekly and items will be backdated when they are checked in. As a result, you may notice items showing as still out on your library account that you have returned, but these will be cleared once the items are checked in at the library.
