Keshen Goodman Public Library opened in 2001 to serve the growing community around Mainland Common. In 2002, the innovative design was recognized with a Lieutenant-Governor's Design Award for Architecture.
The Library continues to be an active community hub, with over 425,000 visits in the 2017-18 fiscal year.
We are excited to grow the Library by extending it beyond its walls, and by making use of the existing space we have in creative ways. The addition of an outdoor library will create a beautiful, shared community space with greenery, comfortable seating (including hammocks!), and program spaces.
Help grow your Library
Donations from our friends and neighbours help Keshen Goodman Public Library do even more for our community. Your one-time or monthly donation will help build Keshen Goodman's Outdoor Library and create beautiful spaces for learning, reading, and play outside our walls.
Every donation of $25 or more receives a customized bookplate that you can add to your favourite book on our shelves!
