Starting on Monday, December 14, Farrell Hall, the temporary location for Dartmouth North Public Library, is open for Curbside Pick-up. Farrell Hall is located at 276 Windmill Road.
Although Dartmouth North has temporarily relocated, you can still access free WiFi and return items through the Book Drop at the branch on Highfield Park Drive during this renovation. Library staff will be not be at the branch on Highfield Park Drive while the renovation is completed. There are no planned Rec Centre interruptions during the renovation.
Library services at Farrell Hall
Curbside Pick-up is a contactless pick-up service available at all locations of Halifax Public Libraries. You can now pick-up your holds at Farrell Hall through Curbside Pick-up.
After browsing our catalogue and choosing an item to borrow, select "Farrell Hall/Dartmouth North Temporary Location" to pick-up your item(s). For more information on how to use Curbside Pick-up, click here.
Other Library services at Farrell Hall will include:
- Book Drop bin
- free wireless internet (WiFi)
- Chromebook and iPad lending
- public use computers
- printing and photocopying
- a selection of books and items to borrow from our collection
