Halifax, N.S., June 29, 2018 — On Friday, June 29, Halifax Public Libraries and the Halifax Regional Municipality are unveiling Dartmouth North’s newest outdoor hub. The outdoor library is one of the first in Canada—a modern public space that brings together nature, technology, and people.
Next time you’re at Halifax Stanfield, you’ll have something new to check out. We have installed 2 very cool, very futuristic, library kiosks at the airport where you can borrow and return library books.
Autism Nova Scotia and Halifax Public Libraries have created a new set of tool kits for individuals and families living with autism. The kits are called Autism Tools and will provide community members with the opportunity to test many of the support products and tools available before buying or creating their own.
