Public Notice: Potential Exposure of COVID-19 at Sackville Public Library

Halifax Public Libraries has been notified by Public Health of a potential COVID-19 exposure that occurred on

  • April 14, between 1:30pm and 7:30pm and
  • April 15, between 10:30am and 5:00pm
  • at the Sackville Public Library (636 Sackville Dr, Lower Sackville).

Anyone who visited the Sackville Public Library during these times should immediately book a COVID-19 test, regardless of whether or not they have COVID-19 symptoms.

To book a test, you can visit covid-self-assessment.novascotia.ca/ or call 811. If you do not have any symptoms of COVID-19 you do not need to self-isolate while you wait for your test result. If you have symptoms of COVID-19 you are required to self-isolate while you wait for your test result.

The Library takes the safety of our staff and community very seriously. The Branch will reopen at 4:00 PM on Tuesday, April 20. We will continue to work with Public Health and share information as it becomes available. Stay safe and stay healthy.
