Halifax Public Libraries is joining the Government of Nova Scotia and many organizations across the province to turn Access By Design 2030 into a reality.
We want to access your thoughts on accessibility.
Individuals of varying abilities are being asked to form our first Accessibility Advisory Committee. With your help, we can develop an accessibility plan for Halifax Public Libraries.
As a member of the Accessibility Advisory Committee, you will advise senior management on all matters of accessibility at the Library. You will draw from your experiences, consult with your community, and monitor our success. We will meet approximately 4 times per year, for several hours, in an inclusive, safe space.
Together, we can make the Library a place for everyone.
