Fast Five: Julia's Top 5 Christmas Films - Review by Julia, Teen Blogger

Julia's Top 5 Christmas Films

1)      How the Grinch Stole Christmas

I love this movie so much at Christmas and have watched it every year since I was a kid. I always sat in bed with my friends either watching it on TV or watching rentals whenever the holiday season came around. This is a great snuggle up movie that is family-friendly and that everyone of every age will love.

Rating: 3/5 Stars

2)     Love Actually

This movie is what I would call a Rom-Com so it’s probably something you would watch with your girlfriends, mom, sisters or alone in bed-either way it’s an amazing watch with gooey romance and quirky comedic lines.

Rating: 4/5 Stars

3)     Elf

I love this movie so much. Will Ferrell plays the lead in this film and I think his personality just fits so well in this film. The film makes my Christmas holidays 10x more enjoyable. This adorable family movie is great for teens and great all the way throughout life.

Rating: 4/5 Stars

4)     Home Alone

I have watched this on and off again throughout the years but it will always remain as one of my favourite Christmas movies. The slapstick ending might be a tad bit violent but doesn’t take away from its charm.

Rating: 3/5 Stars

5)      The Polar Express

This was the best Christmas movie I saw in the theatres and ever since it was released I have always watched it every Christmas with my family. The animation is simply wonderful and the absolutely wonderful adventure that you watch on screen is unforgettable.

Rating: 4/5 Stars
