For Volunteer Appreciation Week 2021, Library volunteers stepped out from behind the scenes to tell us their stories, to share their experiences and why they volunteer.

When you contribute your unique voice and talents to life at the Library, you're helping shape your community, and having a real impact on people's lives.

And, we're here to support you! As a volunteer, you'll receive an orientation, training, and the tools you need to succeed in your role.

Adult Volunteer Opportunities

Share your time and expertise. Meet new people and connect with your community. We're looking for adult volunteers to lend a hand with a variety of programs and in different locations.

Are one of these opportunities a good fit for you?

Teen Volunteer Opportunities

We know you care about your community, and we're here to support the change you want to make happen. Each opportunity has been shaped by teens like you and will continue to transform with your ideas and passion.

Are one of these opportunities a good fit for you?

Becoming a Library Volunteer

You'll need to apply to volunteer, attend an interview, and provide references. If you're 18 or older, you'll also need to complete a criminal records check before you start volunteering.

When you find the best opportunity for you, look for the volunteer application and get started.
