Make a difference by delivering library items to Halifax residents who are unable to visit the Library due to a disability, long-term illness, or caregiver responsibilities.
What you'll be doing
Every three weeks, you'll pick up pre-packaged items from the Library for delivery to several Home Delivery clients, and you'll collect items from clients and return them to Library.

- No experience is necessary. We provide training and support for all our volunteers!
- You'll need your own vehicle and to provide fuel.

To get started, contact the branch where you wish to volunteer and ask if they are currently looking for Home Delivery volunteers. If they are, please complete the Home Delivery Volunteer Application and submit it to the Home Delivery Supervisor at your chosen library.
