English Language Learning Volunteers

By volunteering just a few hours a week, you can help people overcome language barriers, build cultural understanding, and connect with people from around the world. Last year, more than 400 adults speaking 30 different first languages participated in our English Language Learning (ELL) sessions.

What you'll be doing

Once a week for 2 hours, you'll meet 1-on-1 or with a small group of adults looking to improve their English communication skills. You'll help them practice their English conversation skills and learn about the local community.
