Accessibility Advisory Committee
Halifax Public Libraries is joining the Government of Nova Scotia and many organizations across the province to turn Access By Design 2030 into reality.
We want to access your thoughts on accessibility.
Halifax Public Libraries is looking for individuals of varying abilities to form our new Accessibility Advisory Committee. With your help, we will develop an accessibility plan for Halifax Public Libraries. Together, we can make the Library a place for everyone.
The Accessibility Advisory Committee at Halifax Public Libraries will advise senior management on all matters of accessibility at the Library. Members will draw from their experiences, consult with their community, and monitor our success. We will meet approximately 4 times per year, for several hours, in an inclusive, safe space.
