In February 2026, two Community Open Houses were held at Halifax North Memorial Public Library to share how feedback from Phase 1 of Community Engagement, opens a new window is helping to guide the new design for North Branch, so far. Both the February 26, opens a new window and 28, opens a new window sessions were an opportunity to ask questions about the renovation, share thoughts with the project team, and imagine new possibilities for the Library, together. Guests enjoyed food from Rossi Soul Food, alongside family-friendly engagement activities and an interactive model of the branch.
