A new library café experience
It is with great pleasure that we announce that the newly designed the Ampersand Café, opens a new window is now officially opened, on both the first and fifth floors of Central Library.
More than coffee
The Ampersand is both a café and an inclusive social enterprise provided by non-profit organization, MetroWorks, for the Library. They runs The Library Café at the Keshen Goodman branch, too
In addition to having delicious food and drinks, the café will also support individuals who are experiencing barriers to employment. It will do this through a learning development program that is designed to help give folks the knowledge, skills, and experience that they need to launch (or relaunch) their careers.
