Jimi Hendrix has a new album out...what?!
It’s true, 40 years after his untimely death Jimi Hendrix’s estate has released "Valleys of Neptune" which is being billed as "12 never before heard Jimi Hendrix recordings."
Now, if you are a Hendrix freak like me, you are probably thinking: "I’ve probably heard some of these songs in bootleg form at some point."
You’d be exactly right, most of these songs have been available for years via slightly dodgy and less than legal sources however there are some songs on this record that no one has ever heard from Hendrix before. And that, my friends, is reason enough to grab a copy.
