Glass Slipper Prom Dress Giveaway

On Saturday, February 9, Paul O'Regan Hall was transformed into the closet of every princess' dreams. The space was filled with dresses, shoes, and jewellery—all available for free.

We had a funfilled afternoon as future prom-goers came together to try on dresses, play runway, and strike a pose.

The Glass Slipper Organization was created to help ensure everyone gets the chance to have the perfect prom day without the financial stress of buying a dress. Glass Slipper collects donated prom dresses at Bedford Public Library and Halifax Central Library throughout the year and hosts semi-annual giveaway events.

Take a look below to see some magic moments from this colourful event.
