PrinterOn Mobile Printing

Use the PrinterOn service to print from your device—no matter where you are—and then pick up your printing at the Library.

  • You can submit your print job in your web browser or using the PrinterOn app—see the instructions below.
  • Most common file formats, opens a new window can be printed this way.
  • You'll need to visit the Print Release Station at the Library (typically a computer located near the printer) within 4 hours. 
  • At the Print Release Station, you'll need to enter your email to see your print job—you can preview, print or delete.
  • Select "print" then pay to finish printing.
  • Regular printing fees apply.

How to: submit online in your web browser

Pick the location where you'd like to print from the list below.

You'll need to:

  • Select the type of printing you want—black & white or colour,  1 or 2 sided.
  • Enter your email address. 
  • Pick your document—you can browse your computer for a file or enter the URL for a website.
  • Once you've entered the above information, click the play icon (triangle). 
  • Enter the number of copies that you want to print. 
  • Click the green print icon to submit for printing.
  • You'll see the status of your print job and a reference number.
  • Visit the Print Release Station at your Library (typically a computer located near the printer) within 4 hours. 
  • At the Print Release Station, you'll need to enter your email to see your print job—you can preview, print or delete.

How to: submit using the PrinterOn App

If you haven't already, install and set up the PrinterOn application, opens a new window.

Once installed, open the PrinterOn application:

  • Tap “Manage printers” or “No printers selected”—this may differ across devices.
  • Tap “Search” and search for your desired Library branch.
  • Tap on your branch printer and tap save.

When you're ready to print:

  • Open the PrinterOn application.
  • Tap on “Documents”, “Photos” or “Web”—options may differ across devices.
  • Select the item you wish to print and tap "Print."
  • Enter your email address and tap “Print”—on some devices this may be a check mark.
  • If you want multiple copies, you need to resubmit your document each time.
  • Visit the Print Release Station at your Library (typically a computer located near the printer) within 4 hours. 
  • At the Print Release Station, you'll need to enter your email to see your print job—you can preview, print or delete.
