The love triangle is a popular romance trope for a reason.
Summer is here and everyone is talking about the third and final season of The Summer I Turned Pretty on Amazon Prime. Who will Belly end up with at the end of the series? If you’ve read the books, you know how the series ends (don’t worry, no spoilers here), but author Jenny Han keeps teasing that the end of the TV series might surprise fans.
...But Jenny, what does that mean?!
Fans of the series have been waiting years to find out if Belly ends up choosing Conrad or Jeremiah. The last season is finally here, but Amazon is painfully only releasing one episode each week throughout the summer. With the season finale scheduled to air September 17, we will just have to keep speculating.
Pick Your Fisher
Team Jeremiah, also known as Jellyfish fans, will be excited to see that Season 3 starts out with a time jump as Belly gets ready to graduate from college and is still in a relationship with Jeremiah.
On the other side of the love triangle, Team Connie fans are tuning in, still convinced that Conrad Fisher is the one Belly is destined to end up with.
One thing all fans can agree on is we’ve fallen in love with Belly, the town of Cousins, and all the characters Jenny Han has created. As Belly grows older, longtime readers and fans of the show hope she will find happiness, whether that is with one of the Fisher boys, or perhaps, setting out on her own.

There are some interesting differences between the books and the show. Reading the books is a great way to understand the characters even more than you might from watching the drama play out on your screen.
Already read all the books? Don’t worry, we have suggestions for you too! Below is a list of titles with similar coming-of-age stories featuring romance and friendship.
Amazon announced, opens a new window that 25 million people tuned in to watch The Summer I Turned Pretty after the third season was launched. The widespread appeal is likely connected to Han’s ability to accurately capture the beauty and frustrations of the teenage years, the importance of friendship, and what it feels like to fall in love.
