2019 was a busy year for e-reading at Halifax Public Libraries, with just over 1,000,000 e-books and e-audiobooks borrowed.

As the year draws to a close, there's no time like the present to recap what items flew off our online shelves and onto your phones, tablets, and e-readers in 2019.

Becoming

Over 5,000 people borrowed Michelle Obama’s Becoming this year in e-book format alone. Becoming was also a chart-topper in the print category for the most Adult Non-Fiction books borrowed.
