May 9 through 14 across all branches of Halifax Public Libraries, heroes and superfans alike entered into a multiverse of happiness with our 8th Annual Mini-Con.
After two years of adapted virtual activities and programs due to the pandemic, we were extremely pleased to welcome back cosplayers and creatives of all ages for a wide variety of events—ranging from laser tag, to K-Pop Karaoke, to button-making crafts, cosplay tips, and Saturday Morning Cartoons. Library branches hosted scavenger hunts and drawing contests, movie screenings, and crafternoons in celebration of all things geek.
