Local author and advocate, Jen Powley was a friend to Halifax Public Libraries. She cared deeply about her community and worked every day to make the world a kinder, gentler place. Jen passed away Sunday, September 17, 2023.
Jen never missed an opportunity to improve the world and focused her energy toward greater independence for those living with severe disabilities. Her publisher, Fernwood Publishing issued a touching tribute.
