Closed for Heritage Day
- All locations and departments of Halifax Public Libraries will be closed on Monday, February 20 for Heritage Day.
The Library closes for all statutory and civic holidays.
Nova Scotia Heritage Day, opens a new window is an annual reminder of our province’s rich historic past and a time to teach ourselves about it. This year’s Heritage Day honouree is Rita Joe, who was instrumental in paving the way for other Mi’kmaq authors.
