This branch of the Halifax Public Libraries system opened in 1996 in the Dartmouth North Community Centre. A full-service library, it circulates approximately 60,000 items a year, including books, CDs, DVDs, videos, magazines, cassettes, and more. The Dartmouth North branch also has publicly-accessible computers which come equipped with Internet access and a variety of adult and children’s software.
Book Return:
When the library is closed, materials from any library branch can be returned to the book drop - inside the main entrance of the Community Centre - from 9 am to 9 pm, Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 6 pm Saturday.
Parking:
Free parking is available in the Community Centre parking lot.
