About Branch

This branch of the Halifax Public Libraries system opened in 1996 in the Dartmouth North Community Centre. A full-service library, it circulates approximately 60,000 items a year, including books, CDs, DVDs, videos, magazines, and more. The Dartmouth North branch also has public access computers, equipped with Internet access and a variety of adult and children’s software, and Google Chromebooks.

Book Return:
When the library is closed, materials from any library branch can be returned to the book drop - inside the main entrance of the Community Centre - from 9 am to 9 pm, Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 6 pm Saturday.

Free parking is available in the Community Centre parking lot.
