Preschoolers

The Library is your imagination's personal playground.

Our programs and events are a great way to introduce little ones to the best in children’s books, songs, rhymes, and activities for active, curious minds. We use talking, singing, reading, writing, and play to help children learn and get ready for reading.

You can also enjoy hands-on experiences with your child at the Library with art, music, science, interactive games, loose parts play, cultural celebrations, performances, and more.

Come over for a play date

Our branches have engaging, kid-friendly spaces. LEGO tables, puppet theatres, board games and doll houses make the Library a local wonderland for family fun.

Take home stories, movies, and more

Cuddle with the classics, discover the best new books, and enjoy the intimacy and fun of reading together.

From board books for babies to picture books, and books that explore everything from dump trucks to dance—your Library offers a rich collection of reading materials to keep storytime fresh and rewarding.

You can also check out a variety of movies, music, and other materials that will surprise and delight.
