Step-by-step

To access the Chilton Library, use the search box at the top right-hand corner of any page of our website. Search “Chilton.”

Or, select the E-Library tab of our navigation menu and choose the View More... option under the Resources section.

On the next page, you'll see a list of our electronic resources organized by subject. See the Learning Tools box, located in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen and click Car Repairs & Maintenance. From there, you'll find Chilton Library, which will take you to the Chilton homepage.

If you are at a branch of Halifax Public Libraries, you will be automatically signed on. From home, you will need to log in with your Library card number.

The Chilton Library is easy to navigate—just choose the year, model, and make of vehicle, and then click Select Vehicle to see what information is available for your vehicle.

At the top of the page, you can select the Repair tab to find general information, manuals, and wiring diagrams, and you can also try ASE Test Prep Quizzes.
