Available in English, French, Spanish and Russian, Medici.tv is an online collection of concerts, operas, ballets, documentaries, master classes, and jazz videos from renowned artists.
Get started
Medici.tv is free to use - anytime, anywhere. All you need to sign in is your library card.
You can stream Medici.tv in your web browser or download the medici.tv, classical music app on your iPhone or iPad. Please note: You will need to create a Medici.tv account (see below) to log in to the app. To get started on web, select E-Library on our website navigation menu and choose Medici.tv from our list of online resources. Or, simply visit this link.
If you want to bring the Medici.tv experience to your big screen, you can cast to your TV using AirPlay or Chromecast or install the Medici.tv channel on your Roku TV.
Personalize your viewing experience with a Medici.tv account
After you sign in with your library card, you can create an optional Medici.tv account by selecting Log in and Register.
After you create your free Medici.tv account, select My Account to browser features such as “Favorites” and “Previously viewed”.
To add a title to your Favorites, select the heart icon for that title from your search results or the video player.
Please note:
- Creating a free Medici.tv account signs you up to receive editorial emails highlighting new releases and upcoming live events. If you don’t want to receive emails these emails anymore, you can click the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any email you receive from them.
- You will need to create a Medici.tv account to log in and use the app.
Search and find
Click or tap the magnifying glass near the top-right corner of your screen to search by artist, composer, work or keyword.
Browse and discover
In the menu, click or tap Concerts, Operas, Ballets, Documentaries, Master Classes, or Jazz to browse that category. Apply relevant filters, such as Performers or Subtitles, to narrow your results.
Upcoming live events
Every year, Medici.tv streams over 150 live events from the world’s most prestigious concert halls, opera houses, festivals and competitions.
Select Live from the menu to view the schedule. Once you select the event you’re interested in, you can sign up for email reminders or add the event to your calendar - look for the icon with a bell and the + symbol.
