Creating a healthy relationship with food, and enjoying what you make doesn’t need to be expensive or time consuming. All of these recipes can be made in a slow cooker with easy ingredients.

Chef Nadine

Chef Nadine is the owner and founder of Slow Cooked Dreams, a food-based education and empowerment project. Nadine believes that by learning how to feed ourselves and our families we can change our lives for the better.

Chef Emily

Chef Emily is a Registered Dietitian and the Library's very own Food Literacy Specialist, opens a new window. Driven by her love for cooking, Emily works to bring food-based programs to community members of all ages.
