A refund will be issued if the Library is notified of cancellation 48 hours in advance. Refunds are available by cheque only. ◦ The Library will not be held responsible for any personal injury, loss, theft, or damage to equipment resulting from the actions of any person or group using the meeting room facilities. ◦ In accordance with the Canadian Copyright Act, any viewing or exhibitions of films must have Public Performing Rights. Films may be shown if a license has been purchased by the organizer from a rights holder such as Audio Cine Films or Criterion Pictures. The Library assumes no responsibility if a film is shown illegally. ◦ Payment is due 1 week prior to booking.
