Interlibrary Loans
The Interlibrary Loan service allows you to borrow materials from other lending libraries in Nova Scotia and across Canada.
Before placing your request, please check:
To place an interlibrary loan request:
- You will need a valid Halifax Public Libraries card
- Use the form below or submit your request in person at any Halifax Public Libraries branch
Please note:
- Interlibrary loan requests cannot be placed by telephone.
- Borrowers may have a maximum of five active requests at any one time.
