The TD Summer Reading Club is a totally free and fun program that encourages kids to read over their summer break from school. The program is adaptable to kids of all ages (recommended for ages 3+), interests, and abilities.

Timeline: 2026 Reporting & Prizes

  • Registration opens on June 17 in branches and online for the TD Summer Reading Club at Halifax Public Libraries.
  • Registration closes on August 31.
  • The last day to report on your points goal is September 13.
  • Prize draws take place in Fall 2026.
