Play in Squiggle Park: Bite-sized games for young readers

It's monstrously fun

We're tickled green to launch access for all Library members to Squiggle Park: a magical, monster-filled website.

The site is made up of bite-sized games designed by teachers, researchers, and gamers, to support young learners in mastering foundational reading skills.

As little as 30 minutes of play per week can help young learners master reading skills 5 times as fast as traditional teaching methods. Kids' screen time can become a fun, educational experience, tailored to their skill levels.

How to: Use Squiggle Park

1) Visit https://squigglepark.com//hpl/ on a desktop or laptop computer. The game currently does not run on mobile.

2) Enter your library card number: A new window will launch the game.

Note: You will also be asked if you want to sign up for a free trial of the app. Feel free to do so, but note that it expires in 30 days.

3) Enter the world of Squiggle Park. The monsters will show you how to play!
