Literacy Help & Upgrading

Are you ready to learn? Get 1-on-1 literacy help at the Library.

This service is free to all adults over 19 years old who have not completed a high school diploma, and have been out of school for 1 year.

Our Adult Literacy tutors can work with you to:

  • Improve your reading, writing, and math skills.
  • Prepare for your GED (General Education Development) test.

We are always looking for Adult Literacy volunteer tutors. Learn more about volunteering with this program.

Programs are free to all adults who have not completed their high school diploma, are over 19 and have been out of school for one (1) year.

Captain William Spry
Tuesdays: 1:00-3:00 p.m. & 5:30-8:30 p.m.
Wednesdays: 9:30-11:30 a.m.
